I'm Zoe Holder
I’m a graphic designer with a degree in Visual Arts and Design and two years of professional experience in advertising. With dual citizenship in Australia and the United States, I’m currently living and working in Sydney. My journey began in traditional art, where I explored various mediums, focusing on three-dimensional clay sculpture. This hands-on artistic foundation continues to inform my design process, helping me think about form, space, and balance in unique ways.
In my current role, I’ve honed skills across branding, UX/UI design, illustration, and motion graphics, working on projects that range from concept development to polished digital executions. I’m passionate about combining creativity with strategy to craft designs that are not only visually engaging but also aligned with the goals of the brands I work with.

EXPERIENCE
FREELANCE DESIGNER
Gourmet Basket - Part Time
Nov 2019 - June 2020
While working at Gourmet Basket, I gained valuable experience in packaging and product design, focusing on creating visually appealing branding elements.
I assisted in styling cards and curating all extra assets, such as ribbons and gift wraps, ensuring a cohesive, premium look for each hamper. This role sharpened my attention to detail.
FREELANCE DESIGNER
NowScreen - Full time each holiday break
Nov 2019 - Feb 2022
At Nowscreen, I focused on creating and refining storyboards for advertising campaigns, working closely with creative teams to visualize concepts.
I also had the opportunity to visit filming sets, observing the production process and gaining insights into how ideas translate into visuals. This experience deepened my understanding of ad storytelling.
JUNIOR DESIGNER
Do Agency - Full Time
Jan 2023 - Ongoing
At the creative agency DO, I’m learning new web design skills using Adobe XD and enhancing my animation techniques in Adobe After Effects.
I continue to refine my expertise in Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop, while focusing more on idea creation and contributing original concepts, rather than just designing others' ideas.
